John Copeland is the Managing Principal of J4 Capital, where he advises companies, investors, family offices and tribal governments on defining transactions, capital strategy and complex situations where independent judgment matters.
Across more than three decades, John has advised senior executives, boards, entrepreneurs and investors through high-stakes strategic decisions. His experience spans mergers and acquisitions, capital formation, strategic advisory, operational transformation and business development across real estate, hospitality, gaming, healthcare, education, infrastructure and other industries.
Prior to founding J4 Capital, John spent twelve years with McKinsey & Company, where he was a leader in the firm's North American private equity, real estate and supply chain management practices. That combination of institutional strategy, operating discipline and transaction judgment shapes J4 Capital's approach to every engagement.
